unpink?
I coined the term "the unpink ladies" shortly after my third daughter was born and always assumed to be a boy, simply because we didn't dress her- or any of the girls- in pink. Now, years(and another girl!) later, unpink is less about a wardrobe choice- in fact, all four often wear pink- and more about a way of life.

my life is pretty amazing. I'm a tattooed, suburban SAHM of four girls, ages 15-5, and last June, my husband bought us the perfect home to finish raising them in.
Also in the past year, for the first time in fifteen years, all of my children went to school full time.
My home, yard - days! - were all pretty much a blank slate and I've been enjoying filling them...
one thing, one moment at a time.
and, sometimes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. this May i will have the honor of caring for sweet baby J when his momma goes back to work.

I so have this going on at the house right now (well only one girl). K's 16 yr old sister is with us for a couple of weeks. I do not understand how they can press buttons so fast!
My daughter has been hinting around at wanting a cell phone recently. I'm afraid we're "this close" to caving.

How old are these girls? I just wonder what our kids would do with themselves if they grew up in our generation...probably crank calling neighbors posing as an ice cream delivery company like we always did :)

Oh Gawd. I can see my future in that photo. How long before my kids would rather hang out with their phone instead of me?
Okay, I'm scared to ask. What is the going age for a cell? My boy is 19 mos....please say I have a year or two b/f I have to pony up a cell phone????? =P
LOL Boy have times changed! I'm having one of those "back in my day" moments....yikes! :D

The girls are my niece, 15 and 1/2 and my oldest- she turns 14 on August 4th. My 11 yo has a cell and my littles are asking. They won't get one until they start 1) Walking home from school or 2)Going places without myself or their Daddy on a regular basis. We've got some time. ;)

Boy ... the trouble I could have gotten into if we had had texting when I was a kid. If we'd have had cell phones - ACK!!
