I personally feel like I'm behind schedule on this...have you ordered your kids costumes yet? Or are you going to make them? I haven't made a costume since Mackie was a baby and I told Shaye she could pick what Mackenna was going to be for Halloween. She said, "A juice box." A what?!?? A juice box. What the ?!?? That's what I get for letting my 2 year old flat out come up with a costume idea. I managed to fabricate a clever (if I do say so myself) costume out of cardboard and it just slipped right over the baby, who was bundled up in the carriage, so it worked out well, but never again have I made one.
A prize!
I recently won a giveaway at Moody Maria - a blog for the girlie girl in all of us. She sent us all of the goodies above and the girls had a blast making up themselves and each other while I was sick. Mackenna also had a little fun producing her own photo shot of the goodies...
I got my revolutionmoneyexchange debit card in the mail and it came with an offer of $5 back the first three times I used my card on a purchase of $25. I used it right away for a $25 gift card at CVS and my first free $5.00 was deposited the very next day! So now that's $500 and fifteen dollars you can get for free from revolutionarymoneyexchange. Not to mention the two dollars from me. If you haven't signed up, what are you waiting for? There are no fees to receive money (unlike PayPal), so now more and more merchants on Etsy (in fact, if you've got your eye on that pink silk scarf on my sidebar- she accepts rme- you can get it for free!) are accepting rme. Think of all the holiday shopping you could do with your free $517 !!

this reminds me I need to start asking the tots what they even wanna be 4 Halloween..I cant belive its coming so quickly.
I agree about the costumes. My daughter has it narrowed down to about 15 different choices so we're getting there! We will definitely buy it but since I only have one, the $50 price tag is bearable. There's no way I could afford it if I had multiple costumes to buy.
Stephanie- true. Sheer numbers are why my girls are trained to be savvy shoppers- Shaye (6a nd1/2 yo) already knows to look for what's included with the costume because she knows I tend to veto costumes that you have to pay extra for all the accessories. ;)
Glad you liked the prizes! Also, I saw the pet costumes at Target yesterday and they had a HOT DOG one (for your dog) just like Pottery Barn for kids. Have they run out of cute costume ideas?
Your blog layout is AWESOME! Lovin' it.
I haven't even thought about Halloween...I'm in denial that summer is over...
I have always made the kids costumes. Plus I always wait until the last minute to do them. I guess I work good under pressure.
What a fun prize to win!
My daughter is wearing her dance recital monkey tutu that we paid handsomely for, but quit ballet before she had a chance to wear in the recital. It's GOING to get worn! If my daughter has other ideas, I'm up the creek.
Fun! Harrison has his Spiderman costume ready. We really love Halloween!!!
Yay for makeup fun.
Tina
Great prize to win with a house full of girls! I have no idea what my girls are going to be for Halloween. Ayla wants me to be a pupa! (NO, I don't and won't dress up) And for Shay to be a catapiller and her to be a butterfly! She's so funny. I do have to sign up for RME and will be sure to do it through you!
