Behind the futon,
tucked in a built-in,
on top of an empty upside-down wipes box...

learning?!??

The littles spent most of Wednesday tucked away(literally) in a creative space of their own making. Shaye came out a few times with questions about Greek mythology and Chinese astrology and Mackenna wanted me to visit her gallery, other than that and a few food/drink trips to the kitchen, they spent 7 hours back there! And they left it "set up" for future use.

This is so cute! I just love when my kids do things like this. Very imaginative play!

Wonderful! My younger son always set up stores...usually to collect money for Legos or something. :-)

I LOVE these days. They could never experience something like this in school. Lucky girls!

That is so great that they made their own space. And that it is a place they really love to be in! Love the art gallery! Kids art is the best!

Norah loves to find hiding places, too. Dwayne doesn't get it. It must be a girl thing. I loved to find magical places (closets, corners) in my house as a kid, too.

You must have thought you were on vacation! I love Shaye's dragon and McKenna's red girl.
