we got a house!

Well technically, we made an offer on a house. Said offer got accepted. And the home inspection went smashingly- no problems at all! So, if all continues to go well, on May 29, 2009, we will get this house...

8 rooms, 4 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths- plus fun little extras like a 10x12 tiled mudroom/laundry room and a backyard that's just waiting for some string lights and summer fun. All wrapped up with a white (more privacy than picket) fence. Found in a lovely little lakeside sub-division. It was well worth the wait!

Be inspired by ideas for beautiful living at The Inspired Room.
And He clearly had his hands all over this moment- Fingerprint Friday.

Wahoo!

I love it!

I was wondering if your 4am comment over at my place had anything to do with all your excitement for your new place.

Congratulations!!!

Thanks everyone!

Yeah Jules, when John got up at 5 and I bombarded him with paint samples he just laughed and asked me if I planned on getting up at 3:30 every morning until the end of May. Me- the girl more likely to go to bed at 3:30 am then get up before, say 8am, (without complaining). And I'm thinking, yeah, I just might. lol.

And Tiff- indeed, it did. ;)

Oh, there were lots of interior photos in the listing, and I saved them all- I will do some before and after posts as we paint and decorate! And I've got some lovely ideas fior the yard- although I do need to learn a smidge about gardening....

Congrats on the new home, exciting times for you and the family.

Thank you for being open about unpink! I was begining to think I was alone.

Was never overly fond of the colour and my little girl's ginger hair and freckles never appreciated the colour. We chose to live in a world, because we still know we are girls in shades of aqua, lemon sherbert, spring green, cherry red, and all the other happy colours in the rainbow.
