unpink?
I coined the term "the unpink ladies" shortly after my third daughter was born and always assumed to be a boy, simply because we didn't dress her- or any of the girls- in pink. Now, years(and another girl!) later, unpink is less about a wardrobe choice- in fact, all four often wear pink- and more about a way of life.

my life is pretty amazing. I'm a tattooed, suburban SAHM of four girls, ages 15-5, and last June, my husband bought us the perfect home to finish raising them in.
Also in the past year, for the first time in fifteen years, all of my children went to school full time.
My home, yard - days! - were all pretty much a blank slate and I've been enjoying filling them...
one thing, one moment at a time.
and, sometimes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. this May i will have the honor of caring for sweet baby J when his momma goes back to work.

How fun!
I'm loving that painted pumpkin and spider cake! looks like some great memories.
We had fun. My MIL and niece did that cake and that pumkin was one that Mackenna did in school. Our neighborhood gets about 400 trick-or-treaters, so the girls were excited to help pass out candy before (and after) they went out. The four girls in costume will post Wednesday.
Mackenna did a great job painting that pumpkin! It's pretty! That is one creepy cake. I bet it tasted delicious, though. :) Have a great day! Beth.
