little vignettes... the story of their lives

My daughters are very creative.  Always expressing themselves... through music, art, writing- and always changing and growing.  Many times a week, I stumble upon a vignette in one of their rooms - and it is so very "her", it makes me smile.

The other day, I took a few photos because, really, these vignettes tell the story of their lives. In the moment they are living them.   And I will never have that moment back...

but,

the memories are mine to treasure,

forever.

i must stop reading blogs today. my eyes are leaking something terrible.
i'm so glad you are treasuring and storing life's little moments with your girls. mine are now off to college, and i'm feeling a bit nostalgic about our little "vignettes."
thanks so much for sharing. i love your photos and the way you see life.

You've inspired me--I don't capture my kids' vignettes often enough. I'm going to do it today.

I really admire you for capturing a phase in their life they later will treasure. I wish photography had been so simple when I was that age, and that I had more photos of my siblings when they were young.
