february this and that

my easy reading recommendation:

The Slippery Year
A Meditation on Happily Ever After

by Melanie Gideon

Funny, and extremely relatable.

My slightly deeper, but very engrossing read recommendation:

the possiblity of everything
a memoir

by Hope Edelman

Thought it might be too heavy for me this month,
but I found it to be a very unique subject matter for a mom to be writing about
and she kept my interest from the first page to the last.

my biggest dissappoint, don't waste your time on this book tip:

No Time to Wave Goodbye

by Jacquelyn Mitchard

A huge disappointment.

Felt like it was written just to be a sequel movie to The Deep End of the Ocean.
Took me foreverrrrr to get through it. But once I start a book I can't just stop reading it.

cutest picture taken this month:

That would be crazy stalker but fun to read about on your blog afterwards. ;) My ex MIL loved her Motherless Daughters book years ago, so when I saw this one (also a true story) I figured it was worth a read- and it was. A little travel description heavy but still interesting enough to enjoy!

And thanks about the header, I was starting to second guess it- it's very bright after last month's. I love anything heart shaped- their not just for February anymore. ;)

I usually can't give up a book once I've started to read it either. No matter how bad it is.

Thanks for stopping by my site the other day. I've been sick so it's taken me a few days to return the favor.

You're very sweet (I'm referring to your "Post a Comment" message).

Your header is gorgeous. Thanks for the book recommendations, but I pretty much only read blogs during the school year (and I'm stinking at that lately!) Some day...

Off to read the Valentine story! :)

Thanks for joining in FF --you're a pro already :)
