semi-handmade, sugar-free valentines for the classroom

As I've mentioned before, we don't "do" candy for Valentine's Day.

So I thought these were a really cute idea for Mackenn'as Kindergarten classroom party next week...

But as cute as these labels are...

I know from experience that it is not a good idea to write specific names on valentines that children who can't read are expected to pass out to their classmates themselves.

They did, however, inspire our alternative...

Easy to pass out.   Hypo-food-allergenic.   Dental hygiene friendly.

So easy, a five year old can "make" them!

And did I mention they only cost $4?!??

EDITED: FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MENTIONED THIS IDEA WASN'T "BOY FRIENDLY" ENOUGH FOR YOU- CHECK OUT THESE HAVE A BALL VALENTINES. VERY BOY FRIENDLY!  AND MY GIRLS WOULD LOVE THEM TOO.  ;)

AND TO ADDRESS THE NEED FOR IDEAS  FOR SLIGHTLY OLDER CHILDREN... 7 AND ABOVE:  FRIENDSHIP BRACELET VALENTINES WITH UNIQUE CARD.
