I know the quality of these pics are a tad questionable- but my camera had broken, I was using Gianna's EasyShare and I love them anyways, more for the memories...we rushed to show Gianna and Brielle the "powdered sugar" sand before the storm hit, after 10 minutes, the thunder started, and we had just made it to Olive Garden when the skies opened up! As we had a cozy, fun lunch, we watched people pouring through the doors after literally emptying their shoes under the awning- it was a sight! We then drove around looking for Whired Whisk Bakehouse and I braved the downpours to run in and get some yummy cupcakes for desert(well worth it!)It was a fun day. :)
Do they really have powdered sugar sand before a storm or is it always like that? (silly question from a cold-weather gal who has never been to an ocean-front beach) ;)
Jules- not just before a storm- always! This beach is featured on Travel channel's "10 most beautiful beaches in the US" special. It's sand looks and feels like powdered sugar! It's a beautiful beach- even with a T-storm rolling in! The 4 of us had been there last August- but it was G&B's first time experiencing it. :)

Images of families enjoying the beach are always great. It definitely gets me in the mood for summer and sparks memories of summers gone by. Thanks!
Great pictures! It makes me want to go there!

Wow, I love the mixture of the family pictures with the weather. I have never seen the ocean myself.
