We have!
And you can too...
Materials:
- 1 raw egg(in the shell)
- drinking glass
- vinegar
1. Carefully set the egg in the bottom of the glass.
2. Fill the glass with vinegar and let it sit for at least 15 hours.
3. Remove the egg and drop it (we used an empty baking pan).
The egg's shell will feel rubbery and won't break because the acid in the vinegar breaks down the calcium carbonate that makes eggs' shells hard.

I can honestly say, "I have never bounced an egg" What did you do to it?
I love the little giggle in the video.
Brielle soaked it in a glass of white vinegar for one week and the girls watched as the shell dissolved and then at the end of the week she took it out and bounced it. It was an experiment she did in science lab this year so it must have a scientic explanation behind it...the littles just thought it was fun!
OH! I thought it was hard boiled! How cool is that? We might just have to try this at our house :)
