I SPY: the 8:30 am edition

breakfast boiling...

Mama Rosie's spinach & cheese low fat ravioli,

(Did anyone else notice the heart shaped bubbles?)

this paper "model" of a great white shark...

found drying on the kitchen table. Shaye says she was inspired by the envelope flap- and I'm guessing probably by this pile of books I found laying on the parlor floor...

Sunflowers,

and newly planted zinnia seeds turned sprouts-

found among boxes and packages awaiting their voyage to our new home...

and these lovelies-

numbered spheres- who found a temporary home in this vase, on my bureau, just so I could admire them before I packed them up for the move.

What were you looking at this morning?

How fun! I was sitting on my back porch with a cup of coffee just wishing it was a weekend. The weather has be so nice!

We have Zinnas growing in our garden to make it pretty. The Marigolds are growing fast.

I love piles of books!

I was looking at the sunflowers on my windowsill thinking I needed to transplant them outside. And I did just that!

Spinach ravioli for breakfast? Really?

At 8:30 this morning, I was looking at my computer screen and yelling to my daughter that she was going to be late for school. Not exactly a lovely start for the day.

It is supposed to be super nice here this weekend!

Ashley- I'm trying to keep them alive long enought o transplant them to our new yard at the end of May. Fingers crossed.

And Wendy. Yup,ravioli. I don't like breakfast foods. My older girls are on vacation this week- a nice break to our usual frantic morning rush... I am so ready for the long term break that comes with the end of the school year!

I felt a little flutter of excitement when I saw the boxes in the background! Yay! It's really happening! :)

Having moved too many times to count before we ended up here, I know the work involved with packing. But I also know the little twinge of adventure that comes too! :)

I also love your little numbered balls. (or, um, spheres) ;)

Ravioli's for breakfast?! That's so funny. I can barely swallow a bit of cereal in the morning. Ravioli must be great for some morning energy though,.
