Birthday Bonanza

Since John Jr. and John Sr.'s birthdays fall only two days apart-

the 17th and 19th of May-

we celebrated them together in Florida, on the 18th.

Happy Birthday (Daddy)(Grandpa) John.

unpink?

I coined the term "the unpink ladies" shortly after my third daughter was born and always assumed to be a boy, simply because we didn't dress her- or any of the girls- in pink. Now, years(and another girl!) later, unpink is less about a wardrobe choice- in fact, all four often wear pink- and more about a way of life.

Strong, sassy, creative and fun- unpink.

my life is pretty amazing. I'm a tattooed, suburban SAHM of four girls, ages 15-5, and last June, my husband bought us the perfect home to finish raising them in.

Also in the past year, for the first time in fifteen years, all of my children went to school full time.

My home, yard - days! - were all pretty much a blank slate and I've been enjoying filling them...

one thing, one moment at a time.

and, sometimes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. this May i will have the honor of caring for sweet baby J when his momma goes back to work.
