a peek at our week(end)

alternately titled:
heading in to February

My gift wrapping skills (and stash!) still need a little developing,
but I did manage to jazz up a recycled bag a little bit...

the littles worked on the 100th day of school projects they conjured up...

{You can read all the details at Shaye's blog.}

And I lovingly amassed this pile of books...

that I plan on reading this month!

What are your plans for February 2010?

Love Anita Shreve although I haven't read her lately. Plans for February: stay on my Weight Watchers points. All month. No screw-ups.

I commented on your daughters blog and thought after perhaps it wasn't right with vodka in my name and all so if you want to delete I understand

I love the reason the other blogs.. my mom is addicted. Kids know us well.

Not sure what I'll be up to, but reading is something I love to do. I just need to make time to do more of it. I find that the best time to read for me, is while I run on our elliptical. That way I get the benefits of reading and the workout too:)

I plan on reading (I even have some of the books you listed) and doing some painting. We just moved a couple of months ago and I still have some things to do but I would like to relax some.

I should probably have better plans than this, but all I really want to do this month is eat dark chocolate truffles while I watch the Olympics. Is that bad?
