I'm pretty sure my daughter is going to be the only six year old girl at her school with a shark backpack and killer whale keychain. Probably the only one who googles images of "dead sharks on shore" too.
I coined the term "the unpink ladies" shortly after my third daughter was born and always assumed to be a boy, simply because we didn't dress her- or any of the girls- in pink. Now, years(and another girl!) later, unpink is less about a wardrobe choice- in fact, all four often wear pink- and more about a way of life.
